The red carpet of Cannes Film Festival wouldn't be complete without its rightful dose of diamond, gold, ruby, emerald, and magnificent pieces of jewelry worn by the most bankable and promising actresses, and supermodels. From Cate Blanchett to Julianne Moore, Marion Cotillard to Bella Hadid and Irina Shayk, they all borrow accessories from luxury brands.
In fact, Chopard, which is not only responsible for the design of the Palme d'or, cater to a lot of the A-listers. The Swiss brand is the official partner of the event and brings to Cannes 71 unique pieces to represent the 71st edition of the Festival. A red carpet collection described as a "rainbow" by Caroline Scheufele, co-president of Chopard. The idea is to reflect the diversity of celebrities coming to Cannes this year.
But Chopard is not the only one. Other jewelry brands also come to the Croisette in hope to be photographed on the famous red steps.
